Surah Fatiha

TAFSEER:
  • The Ultimate Prayer: It is considered the most essential prayer in Islam, as a prayer (Salah) is not valid without it.
  • Structure: The Surah is divided between Allah and His servant, starting with praise for Him, then outlining the relationship of worship and the request for guidance.
  • Core Message:
    • Verses 1-3: Recognition of Allah as the Creator, Sustainer, and Merciful Owner of all.
    • Verse 4: Acknowledgment of accountability on the Day of Judgment, encouraging righteous actions.
    • Verse 5: A pledge of exclusive worship and reliance on Allah alone.
    • Verses 6-7: A fervent plea for guidance to the "Straight Path," seeking the path of those favored by Allah rather than those who incurred wrath or went astray.
  • Virtues: It is called Ash-Shifa' (the Cure) and Ar-Ruqyah (remedy), acting as a powerful supplication.
